Be The Change
... is one of the tabs you can see at the top of this page. In this section you will find many stories about some of the events I have been involved in... or organized... over the last many years, where I try to bring peace, love and understanding to the world. It's a big job!!
You will also notice that the last few entries into this section of my webpage have all happened recently... in 2025! Since the leader of the US Republican party (I will not give his name and girth on my webpage) took office, the world has witnessed a shocking transformation... to say the least! Most recently, we have witnessed the bombing of a boat in international waters where the US military is testing its powers of authoritarianism to see if we will sit idly by allowing these actions to go unchecked! In just the last few days, we've seen this dictatorship take even further steps to stifle free speech!
People all over the world are feeling betrayed and desperate because we don't know what to do about this very important matter! You will see that my stories begin with events that I have been involved in since January. The first story shares how I was able to inspire friends, neighbours and people from around the globe to simply show support for one of his first victims... Reverend Mariann Budde.
Then... just a few weeks later... as March quickly approached... you will see a story filled with many links, videos and news reports about how I and a small handful of people organized London, Ontario, Canada's Tesla Takedown peaceful protests. Wow! That's a lot of people who don't like fascists!
Nearing the end May, I got involved in a wave of Canadian protests that took place on June 14th... the NO KINGS marches! I was asked to lead the march and just before this happened, Devon performed a protest song on his ukulele.
Then I was involved for several months to speak out against our own far-right political party, The CPC (Conservative Party of Canada) as Pierre Poilievre sought re-election after high-jacking an easy win seat in the prairies.
And now... my most recent actions have been involved in inspiring others to bring the money-men to their knees by boycotting Disney and other television/movie streaming services! The US is now taking many actions to take our freedom of speech from us and this is something that will surely lead to chaos across the US if allowed to happen.
It has been a busy year for me... but not as busy as tens of millions of Americans who are DAILY taking to the streets to protest against the fascism that is rising throughout their country! I applaud their efforts!!
So... here is that link again... to the section of my webpage where you can see... and be inspired by actions to make this world a better place. If you have not gotten involved in any actions yet... I hope that these stories will motivate you to realize that complacency and ignorance are tools of the fascists and that by doing nothing you are helping them win!
