Just two days ago, Devon and I went down to meet Vanessa
and drop off a few copies of my book.
We also finalized the details for the September 19th event!
I'm excited for the 19th event and I hope that many
of you will drop by and say hello to Vanessa...
and buy a copy of The Nunavut I Knew!

It was a pretty relaxed time and I forgot to take more photos!
This is Helen!!
We chatted for quite a while and she was very
excited to be the first person to buy my memoir at this event.
But... which copy to buy?
This cat helped us to decide! Haha!
As the cat was walking over the table top, I suggested
that Helen buy the copy that the cat sits on.
It didn't take long!!
I made this fun video to tell the story of this event...
My event happened in the earliest part of St. Thomas' Oktoberfest celebration.
After my event, I went home for the rest of the afternoon, but
returned with my family to see Jim Cuddy's concert!
Just after the MC announced that Jim Cuddy and his band
would soon be on stage...
... a train pulled up and they all got off to make their
way to the stage.
They did this fun event because St. Thomas is known
as the Railway City!!!

What a day!
Packed full of fun and excitement!!
