Ode To The Covidiot

Are you sick and tired of all the nonsense surrounding the anti-mask/freedom rallies?? Me too!  It boggles my mind that such simple concepts cannot be understood by this small handful of the population.  Just the other day, I thought that instead of sharing valuable information to Covidiot posts on Facebook and other social media platforms.... that just gets ignored anyway, that I'd try a new approach! I wrote this poem!!! In just the last few days, I've actually shared this around 15 times - that's how many ignorant comments I've seen in this short time!  This poem has received many 'likes' and I always encourage people to steal my poem for their own personal use... as I am doing here!  Simply cut'n'paste the poem onto a word document and save it in your files! Then share it, whenever you see an ignorant comment by an anti-masker/covidiot!!!!  Enjoy....

Ode To The Covidiot

Covidiots are so smrt because they know the truth

With their cereal box medical degrees and perspectives so long in the tooth

They study so relentlessly, watching videos while taking a crap

Writing stories that they long to see published by ASCAP

Their rhetoric has become so moot, we all wish they’d just go away

Because it’s a criminal offense (I think) if we turned them into human fillets

They gather in groups and party all the time, waving banners that make no sense

Insulting nurses, dishonouring the dead, the limits to their ignorance is quite immense

They just don’t get it

Their minds are fogged

Their passion is ill directed

Do they not read the stories about their comrades in arms who were so quickly infected?

Rate of spread and long term effects are variables they can’t understand

They think it’s a world government conspiracy sweeping across the land

“No mask! No voice!” is the chant they often spit

But it’s not true

We’ve heard them too

We’ve just grown tired of their bullshit

Recently, a new 'news' publication has been circulation through Southern Ontario. It's called Druthers.  Last week, I managed to get a copy and take a look! I was not disappointed with the amount of misinformation that I saw there!  It's really sad, that the folks behind this are putting so much effort into these tales of woe, when they could actually be using this energy to help those who are struggling through this challenging time!

Publications such as this, are always spouting off about how their 'news' is better that mainstream media... so I find it ironic that they would publish something like this....

Do they not see the irony here????
