In the weeks leading up to this event, I went for a visit to the store to take some photos that were used to promote the event. So... let's start with a few photos of me... Haha!

Now... let's chat about the experience at the book launch...

What a great event we had at Lake House Books in Port Stanley, last week! A friend of mine, Chrissy, who I've known for over 30 years, is talked about in my memoir... so she kinda HAD to buy a copy to read her own name in the pages of it. It was great that she came to this event and brought her daughter, Zoe!

Another person who I was excited to meet at this event is Christine Rudman! See lives in the area and recommended that I chat with Rachael at Lake House Books... and that's how this event came to be. Christine is also the person who wrote the review that appears on the back cover of my book...

I'll bet that many of you will find it odd that Christine wrote this wonderful review for my memoir, and we've never met in person before! I actually made a fun video about this!!

So... we were both stoked to meet in person at this event. I also got to meet her husband, David... but he didn't make it into a photo... he was behind the lens! Thanks, David!
