Boycott Disney - Save Freedom of Speech

 I swear the news coming out of the USA gets crazier by the minute!!! So... to begin... a white supremist/bigot/hater was recently shot and killed at an event where he was promoting his hate!

tRump and his MAGA supporters and Fox News immediately started blaming the 'extreme-left' and soon anyone who wasn't a tRump supporter was being labelled as a terrorist! Insane... I know! But - whoah-boy - when it was discovered that the killer was actually an 'extreme-right' fanatic, suddenly MAGA cooled it's heels on demanding the persecution of the murderer, saying that he needs to be coddled and given mental health support! Oh the hypocrisy is deep in this story!

It bothered me deeply that this story dominated headlines... and meme content for the next many days! I found it bizarre that such a hater was getting so much attention.

Even in Canada, his death was being used by the CPC (Conservative Party of Canada) to gain traction for their 'right' agendas! It was sugar-coated with words that anyone with any decency couldn't help but applaud (words speaking out against violence, etc.) but with a right-wing ending. Most of our government gave these words a standing ovation! It made me sick to my stomach!

Alberta Premier (far-right-lunatic) Danielle Smith went so far as to create vigils for Charlie Kirk and they began springing up all across our country. Scary!

Some sanity was witnessed in the United Nations when during a meeting a moment of silence was asked for and instead of complying the majority of those in attendance began slamming their hands on desks and making noise!

Now... while we all know that violence... shooting people... will never solve any problems, and while no one condones or supports the murder of a hater... using Charlie Kirk as a political lever is not the right thing to do! It's that simple!

Then things got even crazier...

... and Jimmy Kimmel was unceremoniously taken off the air! OUTRAGEOUS!

I think that most people were finally at the end of their ropes! We have all just about had enough! It was time to do something...

The call to end subscriptions for streaming the Disney Channel and several other channels and companies began! All these companies were associated with ABC and 'we the people' were gonna make them pay for taking away our freedom of speech... where it hurts the most!

Early this spring we had cancelled our subscription to Prime and we continue to boycott Amazon as our actions to take power away from Jeff Bezos... as he is profiting mightily because of the tRump administration. Now... we just cancelled our subscription to Disney! AND SO DID TENS OF MILLIONS OF OTHERS!!!!

Well... it only took a few days to see results...

After only five days, Jimmy Kimmel was invited back to continue with his show. I was really disgusted with the media reports that completely missed the fact that this happened ONLY because Disney and others took a massive hit in the wallet! The media must think we're all idiots... we all know why this happened!

I'm going to continue watching this story to see if stocks do continue to lose value! I really hope that they do! This will send a very strong message to so many of those in power! A message long overdue!
